Mike Monson

Kim and Mike were originally drawn together because of bluegrass music. They met at Sir Benedict's Tavern on the Lake over 20 years ago. A friendship began and then the musical connection was made, the rest is history.

From time to time an occasion calls for Kim and Mike to entertain as a duo. This is where they get to stray and stretch a little bit from the rest of the group. They have performed alone and along with others, or other bands even.

There is nothing they enjoy more than those moments of singing an old country song together, hearing the harmonies, feeling the chills and knowing that the relationship comes purely from love and that love of music together. You can hear them perform as a duo in many smaller venues throughout the state.
