Kim's Bio

Kim Curtis-Monson - Songwriter

Kim is a gifted songwriter who has been spinning her tales for over 20 years. She lends guitar and her rich vocals into her woven songs of the beauty of love, the torment of loss and heart break of life. Kim also covers many performers music from our America born Colvin and Dylan to the English and Scottish styles of Van Morrison, Stan Rogers and Richard Thompson. She blends all these styles into her own to make her one of the most exciting performers in the area.

To get the "Kim as a Whole" feel, one must come and really experience the style Kim represents with her clothing. She is constantly designing apparel to be one step ahead of the fashion industry while still holding onto the concept that "normal is just a setting on your washing machine". Her favorite book is " When I Am An Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple" and you'll be able to sense that bit of the gypsy she brings with her.

"Music it's not just a sound or voice it's both wrapped up in a bolt of sparkling fairy cloth with wild blonde hair .... it's Kim!" - Big Fish Tunes Daily Chronicle
