Kim Curtis-Monson has been performing music for more than 30 years. She began her musical career doing solo stuff, but started with bluegrass in about 1983 with a visit to Duluth's local pub, Sir Benedict's Tavern on the Lake. Her now husband Mike had been one of the founding members of the Wednesday night jam with his group. Her first bluegrass band membership came with a band called Hawk Ridge Bluegrass. She and Mike then formed Natural'grass, which was together for about a dozen years and performed over the tri-state area and Canada. Back to Fish Heads Bios |
